Tom Davis​​​
​​Based in Brighton & Hove, Tom is a versatile and experienced guitar tutor with a passion for helping students develop their own unique musical voice. Tom has been playing since the age of 14 and started performing and teaching just a couple of years later, initially helping friends learn their favourite riffs, before going on to teach students of all ages.
​At 20, Tom began studying Professional Musicianship at BIMM Brighton, where they deepened their understanding of music across genres; from rock and jazz to funk, soul and pop. They later returned to BIMM to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning, further honing their ability to adapt to each student’s needs and learning style.​

Tom’s lessons are centred on creativity, expression, and practical skills. Whether you’re learning your first chords, refining technique, writing original music or preparing to jam with others, they’ll help you build a solid foundation while keeping things fun and engaging. Their approach balances technique, ear training, theory, and improvisation, always tailored to your goals.
Outside of teaching, Tom plays alongside me on guitar in Tidal Rave and is the bassist in alt rock/emo outfit Adalia.​
